We understand that a partnership means having skin in the game.   We’re not going to hide behind auto-renewing contracts, hidden fees or non-transparent costs.   Our role is to advise you to the best of our ability, with the most up to date information available in order to meet your needs and make good natural gas purchases on your behalf.   If you are not satisfied with our day-in day-out performance, we believe you should have the option to look elsewhere.

Participating in the natural gas marketplace is a time-consuming process.  The many interactions with regional utilities, suppliers, and regulatory agencies are challenges we’re happy to handle on your behalf.   No doubt you have your hands full looking after your primary business.   Put your confidence in Energy Source and we’ll monitor the opportunities on your behalf.

Markets change rapidly everywhere around the world.   One of the most volatile markets is Natural Gas Futures in North America.   With rapid changes comes the risk of finding your gas portfolio outside the safety boundaries you’ve set.   Energy Source is watching the market all day.   As your provider, we’re continually monitoring not only what the market is doing but how it affects you directly.   We will alert you when boundaries are approaching and advise you with opportunities as we see them develop.   The last thing you need is to be taken by surprise.

Many gas marketers use a business model where they bring you in with a low introductory price and subsequently use your account for their own benefit over the years.   We believe in a partnership approach where we treat the variables in your gas account as assets.   We continually look for and introduce you to opportunities to use these assets for our mutual benefit.   The Energy Source approach is to drive your costs lower over the long term not just beat the competition with the initial price quote.

Energy Source is a small company with a deliberately limited number of customers.   While we are growing, our goal is to continue to work with a very manageable set of partners.   We stay on top of each customer’s portfolio monitoring its performance against the market and making appropriate adjustments.   Our hallmark is to keep you informed and able to make the strategic decisions without burying you in the details of the transaction.  

Energy Source does not use a telephone screening system.  When you call our offices, you’ll be immediately in touch with someone who can start helping you right away.   We’re a small, dedicated team who remains familiar with the details of all our customers.   Not everything, though, happens within the confines of business hours.   We’re available on call and have systems that help us monitor the markets if something affects you after hours, on holidays, on over the weekends.   Our number one concern is to look after you and provide the highest level service possible.

We match individual strengths to client and company needs. As a team we have over 28 years experience in the natural gas industry in Ontario.

Our Philosphy

We started Energy Source Natural Gas with the intention of being the supplier of choice for small to mid-size industrial, commercial, and institutional natural gas users in Southern Ontario. We knew there was a better way to market natural gas.

Honesty and integrity are the keystones of all of our relationships, whether with our customers, our suppliers, our competitors, or our employees. We know that relationships are the essence of this business and that those relationships are based on the highest bonds of integrity and trust between our team and our customers. We know that over time the relationships become broader, wider, and deeper.

Energy Source Customer Service Promise

 At Energy Source, our first priority is to deliver the highest quality natural gas service to our clients. We are committed to making your experience with us the best it can be. We recognize that a reputation for excellence must be earned every day; as a result, we have created and implemented a Customer Service Promise:
  • Our pledge is to be available to you on your schedule. Our goal is to have you talk to a person 99% of the time, not a machine.
  • We assure you that you will speak to a person who will identify themselves and courteously assist you in reaching the person you are calling.
  • We will return your phone calls and emails promptly, no later than by 5:00 p.m. the next business day but often much sooner.
  • Each Energy Source representative will provide their necessary contact information so you can reach them easily. If an Energy Source employee is not available you’ll be provided with an alternative contact.
  • We will train our employees so that more than one person can handle your inquiry on any given issue.
  • Our team can be mobilized 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the event of a major service disruption.
  • We will invest whatever time is necessary, at our expense, to learn your business.
  • We will listen to your goals and objectives and respond to your needs.
  • We are open to tailoring our service for you including our pricing, purchasing and invoicing.
  • We will provide you with appropriate recommendations based on your business.
  • We will discuss strategy and tactics with you before taking any action on your behalf.
  • Your account will receive constant review and attention from our staff. We will be there when you need us.
  • At the beginning, throughout our representation, and as often as you like we will provide you with information about your account, your strategy and the market.
  • We will conduct regular onsite visits that fit your schedule.
  • We will answer your billing questions promptly and provide fully transparent invoices summarizing each of your transactions.
  • Everyone at Energy Source is committed to delivering the very best in client service and value. We will continue to train everyone in our firm to deliver excellent, timely service.
